Appeared in 10 games, mainly on special teams...earned his first collegiate start at middle linebacker against UT Martin...finished the season with 27 tackles and one fumble recovery...posted six stops, including four solo, in the season opener against Louisville...posted a career-best 13stops in the game against UT Martin...also recovered a fumble in that contest.2006: Redshirted during the 2006 season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Casey-Westfield High School for head coach Keith Sinclair...helped his team to a combined record of 22-2 as a junior and senior and two Little Illini Conference championships...was named team MVP, all-conference and all-state as a linebacker his senior year...totaled 131 tackles and one interception to go along with 559 yards rushing his senior season...also selected to the IHSFCA Magazine Tremendous 26 list and won the school’s Good Citizen Award...had 120 tackles as a junior...was named the team’s best linebacker as a sophomore and senior...earned three letters as a member of Casey-Westfield’s basketball and track teams.
