- Was injured in the season opener at Texas Tech and did not play in the rest of the 2022 season.
- Vs TTU, was 8-16 passing for 207 yards.
- One of his passes went to Jacob Bell for a 54-yard touchdown with 13:39 before halftime.
- Enters the 2022 season having played in 16 career games with 1,228 yards passing on 94-168.
