- His father, Mark, played collegiately at Cal State- Fullerton and later in the NFL with the Giants, Chiefs, Packers and Seahawks from 1986-98 with 27 career interceptions.
- Mark Collins was a two-time Super Bowl champion in 1986 and 1990.
- Brother, Mark Jr., played collegiately at South Dakota (2017-20).
