Playing Career

Played for the Racers from 2009-12 as part of Coach Steve Prohm’s first run as Racer head coach.
Part of the record-breaking season that saw the Racers become the final undefeated team in the nation at 23-0 and rise to a top-10 national ranking.
MSU set an OVC and school record in going 31-2 and earned a No. 6 seed (best in program history) and defeated Colorado State in their first NCAA Tournament game in Louisville over Colorado State.
Becoming a starter for the first time in his career in 2011-12, Poole went from averaging 5.0 points per game over 84 career games, to 14 points per game in 33 games as he became the perfect compliment to All-America selection Isaiah Canaan.
Poole has a 3-point percentage of .376 (68-181) and a free throw percentage of .858 (115-134) and 26 games of double-digit scoring.
Top games included 20 points on 6-8 3-point shooting when the Racers took down ranked Memphis and season-high 28 points against Tennessee Tech.
Became the OVC Tournament MVP when he scored 25 points in the semifinals vs TTU and 14 points in the title game win over Tennessee State.
His senior season also featured 63 steals which was second in the OVC and in the top-40 nationally.
