- Joins Murray State men's basketball in the 2023-24 season as Graduate Assistant Coach.
Before MSU
- Spent one season as an assistant coach at Western Colorado.
- Worked with well known Basketball Player Development Coach Phil Beckner.
- Ranson played his collegiate basketball at Northern Colorado 2016-17 and at Fort Lewis College 2017-2019.
Personal
- Is a native of Pueblo, Colorado.
- Father Brad and Grandfather Jim Ranson, both were Head Basketball Coaches for 25+ years at Pueblo Central High School.
- Earned a BSBA in Management from Colorado State-Pueblo and is worked toward a master's degree in HUman Development and Leadership from Murray State.
