Before MSU: A member of the Glenwood High School varsity team for four seasons…helped the Titans to a second-place finish at the Illinois State Tournament…team claimed conference, regional, sectional, and super-sectional titles along the way and finished the season with a 29-9 record…earned All-Illinois Third Team honors as a senior and was named the CS8 Conference Player of the Year in 2009…named to Mizuno Super-60, as one of the top 60 seniors in Illinois…a Chicago Tribune All-State Special Mention honoree in 2009…in her final season led the CS8 Conference with 42 RBIs…was a CS8 All-Conference honorable mention in 2007 and earned All-CS8 First Team honors in 2008 and 2009…ended the season with a .421 batting average, with two home runs, nine triples, and 10 doubles…had the fifth-best hitting average (.418) in the CS8 conference as a junior, when she tallied 31 RBI’s, 14 doubles and three triples…as a sophomore she recorded 28 hits in 88 at-bats, with nine doubles and 10 RBI’s…also earned CS8 All-Academic honors as a senior.
