2004: Annie played in 16 of Murray State’s 20 games and started 15 of those contests...in 600 more minutes in net, she only allowed five more goals as a sophomore than she did her freshman season...posted an impressive 1.90 goals against average, .82 lower than her freshman season.
2003: Played in 10 games, starting in nine, leading MSU goalies...faced 91 shots with 66 saves, for a .725 percentage...had a 2.72 goals-against average...got the win at Western Illinois, her first career game.
BEFORE MSU: Played four seasons at Bowling Green High School...a member of three district title teams, and two sectional and regional champions...earned two trips to the state final four...three-time first team All-State selection...four-time all-district and all-region selection...four-time Academic All-State selection...also lettered in softball.
PERSONAL: Born Annie Lynn Fortier on Feb. 16, 1985, the daughter of Martin and Charlene Fortier...majoring in pre-med.
