2010-11: competed in the indoor 800, Mile, 3,000 and 5,000...also ran in the outdoor 1500, 3,000, 3,000 Steeplechase, 5,000 and 4x400 relay...ran personal-best times during the indoor season of 2:27.39 in the 800, 10:46.78 in the 3,000 and 18:43.26 in the 5,000...earned Outdoor All-OVC for taking third in the steeplechase, with a time of 11:19.24...ran personal-best times in outdoor 3,000 (10:28.68), steeplechase (11:19.24) and 5,000 (18:31.15)...was one of 12 participants in the OVC Outdoor Championship and helped the team place fifth.
2009-10: Competed in distance events for the Racers…had a best-indoor time in the 3,000 of 11:33.27 at the EIU Mega Meet and finished the Distance Medley with a time of 12:22.65 at the OVC Indoor Championships…competed in the 1,500, 3,000, and 3,000-meter steeplechase during the outdoor season…has her best performance in the 1,500 at the Emory Classic (5:01.49), in the 3,000 at the Memphis Invite (10:44.80) and in the steeplechase at the Ole Miss Invite (11:41.89).
2008-09: Finished second in the 4x800 relay at the Emory University Invitational...third-place finish in the 800 at the Redhawk Invitational...placed 10th in the 800 at the Indoor Saluki Fast Start...All-OVC Indoor Track...OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2011: Placed 36th with a time of 19:46.26 at the Memphis Twilight…finished 9th overall in 19:35.10 at the SIUE XC Challenge…scored a season-best time of 19:02.59 to place 43rd at the Greater Louisville Classic…ran 19:40.94 to finish 35th at the Evansville Invitational…was the 23rd finisher at the OVC Championship with a time of 19:07.19…finished the season with a time of 23:15.2 to place 160th at the NCAA Southeast Regional.
2010: Finished 10th in the 4k at the Saluki Early Bird with time of 15:47.8…placed 45th at the Commodore Invite with time of 19:51.97…completed the course in 19:13.66 at the Memphis Twilight...recorded a season-high finish of 4th at the Tennessee Tech Invite with a time of 20:20…finished with a season-best time of 19:12.81 to place 16th at Evansville Invite…placed 22nd at the OVC Championships with a time of 19:49.85…second-highest MSU finisher at the NCAA Regional with a time of 23:28.75 to place 182nd.

Before MSU: Attended Conner High School in Hebron, Ky...was a state qualifier in the 4x800 relay and 3200 under coach Jeremy Fisher...finished in 7th place at state in the 4x800 relay her junior year...helped lead her team to a 4th-place finish at state during her senior campaign...was named Cougar Woman of the Year her junior and senior year.
Personal: Born Kayla Rose Crusham, Jan. 1, 1990 in Burlington, Ky....daughter of Kristina Anderson and Daniel Crusham...has one brother, Jonathan (18)…majoring in nutrition, dietetics and food management.
