2010-11: Ran the Mile during the indoor sesaon...had a season-best time of 6:38.36 at the GVSU Big Meet...participated in the 1,500 in the outdoor season, with a season-best time of 5:59.76.
CROSS COUNTRY
2010: Placed 19th at the season-opening Saluki Early Bird with a time of 18:13.5…completed at the Evansville Invite, scoring a time of 22:10.19.
Before MSU: Attended St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio…finished top-75 in the 2008 state championships…team cross country state championship in 2009.
Personal: Born Courtney Georgina Kovach, Nov. 10, 1991 in Akron, Ohio…daughter of Matthew and Linda Kovach…has one brother, Joshua (15)…majoring in wildlife and conservation biology.
