Bostick, Johnston, Williams Earn All-MVC Scholar Athlete

Murray State Track & Field saw a trio of great performers receive honors from the Missouri Valley Conference as part of its 2025 All-Scholar Athlete Team as announced by the league office in St. Louis.

Faith Bostick, Lindley Johnston and Alyssa Williams were part of those honored for academic excellence.

Bostick, from Rockledge, Fla., majors in Integrated Studies Health and Science, while Johnston majors in Business Administration and hails from Wyoming, Ill. Williams is from Spanish Town, Jamaica and majors in Nonprofit Leadership Studies.

To meet the criteria, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). A graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a grad student unless they are in their first semester as a graduate student and don't have an established graduate GPA. Eligible nominees must be in the lineup for 70 percent of an institution's team scoring events or in the lineup at the conference championship.
