- The 2025Â season will be Schwepker's 27th season at MSU.
- He is the winningest coach in program history and the top coach in longevity in program history.
- Led the Racers into their first season in the Missouri Valley Conference.
- Led MSU to the NCAA Tournament in 2003, 2014 and 2016.
- Named OVC Coach of the year in 2014 and 2015.
- Under Schwepker’s leadership, the Racers won the OVC regular season championship in three-straight years (2014, 2015, 2016).
- In 2021, the Racers saw Becca Fernandez become a three-time OVC Defensive Player of the Year and Brooke Lynn Watts win the Freshman of the Year Award.
- Fernandez and Watts were named All-OVC First Team and Bailey DeMier was named to the All-OVC Second Team.
- In 2019, coached Rachel Giustino as she was named AVCA All-American and OVC Player of the Year
- In 2018, the team matched a school record with 16 straight wins.
- In 2017, MSU made its fourth-straight trip to the OVC Tournament Championship match.
- 2016 marked the third consecutive OVC title for the Racers, becoming just the sixth team in OVC history to win three or more consecutive league championships
- Under Schwepker, Scottie Ingram (2013-16) won three straight OVC Player of the Year honors from 2014-16, becoming just the second student-athlete in league history to achieve the feat.
- The 2016 Racers became the first team in program history to win a set in the NCAA Tournament, defeating UCLA 25-21 in the opening set.
- In 2015, the Racers won a record 27 games.
- Schwepker recorded his 400th career victory on September 1, 2023 against Southern Indiana. Â
- Schwepker notched his 300th career victory on Oct. 21, 2017 against Tennessee State.
- His 200th career victory happened Sept. 6, 2014 against Howard.

- Schwepker’s players produced 15 OVC Players of the Year honors including: Freshmen of the Year, Nikki Wang (2002), Jade Guo (2008), Katirah Johnson (2017) and Brooke Lynn Watts (2021). , Defensive Player of the Year, Heather Norris (2006), Kayleah Sauer (2009), Ellie Lorenz (2016), and Becca Fernandez (2018, 2020, 2021), Setter of the Year, Sam Bedard (2015) and Player of the Year, Scottie Ingram (2014-16) and Rachel Giustino (2019).
- Has coached three AVCA All-Americans (Paige Sun, Heather Norris, and Rachel Giustino).
- Five All-Midwest Region honorees (Paige Sun, Heather Norris, Katie Kemezys, Scottie Ingram, and Rachel Giustino).
Before MSU
- Tennessee State Head Coach from 1995-97.
- Was assistant coach at Southeast Missouri, his at his alma mater, from 1992-94.
- Helped lead SEMO to two OVC regular season titles (1993 and '94) and an OVC Tournament title in 1994.
Personal
- Born July 25, 1964 in St. Charles, Mo.
- He and his wife, Kendra, have three sons, Evan, Luke and Isaac.
- Graduated from Southeast Missouri in 1987 with a Bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in physical education.
- Earned his Master's degree in HPERD with an emphasis in sports psychology.
