Mugler gets sixth double-double in shutout loss at Eastern Kentucky

The Racers (3-10, 1-5 OVC) were led by junior middle blocker Katie Kemezys' 12 kills and four blocks. Freshman outside hitter Alison Mugler picked up her sixth double-double with 11 kills and 17 digs.
Freshman libero Heather Norris had a co-match-high 19 digs, while freshman outside hitter Alyssa Groves had 12 and freshman defensive specialist Ashley Meagher had 10. Freshman setter Kelsey Hubert handed out 39 assists, while junior middle blocker Holly Jansen turned away four blocks.
For Eastern Kentucky (13-5, 5-1 OVC), Amy Arlinghaus had a match-high 17 kills, while Jessica Sabath had 13 and Liz Guard had a double-double with 12 kills and 11 blocks, taking part in every Colonel block.
Brittany Nobilio had 19 digs, while Kelly Jennings had 11 to go with 42 assists.
Murray State continues its four-match road swing at Southeast Missouri State on Friday at 7 p.m.
