MSU Announces Racer Television Network

In a groundbreaking venture, Murray State Athletics, NewWave Communications and Mediacom announced the formation of the Racer Television Network and a plan to broadcast four MSU men's basketball away games in the 2008-09 season to a combined 58,000 subscribers.

The telecasts of Racer Basketball will include a pre-game interview with MSU Head Coach Billy Kennedy, plus scores from the Ohio Valley Conference during the game.
The games will be produced by Hopkinsville's WKAG-TV.
Western Kentucky Insurance has agreed to be the title sponsor of the Racer Television Network broadcasts.
