Men?s Tennis Drops Opening Match at Louisville

The Murray State men's tennis team fell to Louisville, 7-0, in its first match of the spring season at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

Luka Milicevic played a strong match against No. 84 Simon Childs, but fell 6-3, 6-2 at the No. 2 Singles position. All of the Racers (0-1) earned at least one game in their singles sets.

In doubles action Jose Berardo and Ben Clos fell to Childs and Vikto Maksimcuk (8-3) at No. 1 and Milicevic and Mason Johnson fell to Austen Childs and Chidi Gabriel (8-2).

MSU will now have 14 days off before returning to action, Saturday, Jan. 30 at Memphis. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
