Men’s Tennis Competes at USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional

The Murray State men's tennis team competed in the 2011 USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships, Oct. 20-24 in Knoxville, Tenn.
Results
The duo of Joao Camara and Arthur Valle earned the lone win for the Racers in the tournament, with an 8-5 win in the first round of doubles action over Andrew Hanley and Josh Malyon from Dayton. Camara and Valle then fell in the second round (8-2) to Jeremy Bonnevalle and Roger Ordeig from East Tennessee.
MSU had five members of the 2011-12 roster in the competition, with Daniel Heibel, Aleks Mitric and Jose Berardo also competing.
The Racers will wrap up the Fall schedule, Nov. 4-6 when they host the Murray State Invitational at Kenlake Tennis Center in Aurora, Ky.
