Women’s Tennis Wraps-Up Home Stand Against Central Arkansas

The Murray State women's tennis team will wrap-up a six-match home stand Sunday, Feb. 26 when they host Central Arkansas at the Bennie Purcell Tennis Courts. The match is slated to start at noon and will be just the second outdoor match of the season for the Racers (2-3).
The Bears are currently 4-4 this season and will face Belmont, Saturday, Feb. 25 before traveling to face MSU. UCA has seen one other member of the Ohio Valley Conference this season, having earned a 4-3 win over Southeast Missouri.
This will be just the second meeting between the Racers and the bears in the all-time series. The first meeting was March 3, 2011, with MSU earning a 5-2 road victory.
After Sunday's match, the Racers will hit the road for the first time in the 2011-12 campaign for five-straight road matches, Feb. 29-March 15.
