The Murray State men's tennis team dropped to 0-2 overall after a 0-7 loss to Abilene Christian at the Kenlake Tennis Center in Aurora, Ky.

The Racers got a set win from freshman Mac McLean. McLean took the first set at No. 5 singles, 6-1, before falling 6-3, 6-0.

During the course of the match, the Ohio Valley Conference released the 2011-12 Preseason rankings, as voted on by the league coaches. The Racers were picked to finish sixth after ending the 2010-11 season in the same spot at 2-5.

MSU will hit the road tomorrow for two matches over the weekend in Memphis, Tenn. The Racers will face East Carolina, Saturday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. and Memphis, Sunday, Feb. 5 at 9 a.m. at The Racquet Club.
