The Breds play their first road Ohio Valley Conference series of the season as they travel to face Tennessee Tech. The series gets underway Friday at 6 p.m., and continues with a 1:30 p.m. first pitch Saturday and a 1 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

Cole Returns to Old School
MUR pitching coach Chris Cole will be a familiar face this weekend as he will be returning to the place he called home. Prior to his arrival in Murray, Cole spent four years as the pitching coach at Tennessee Tech.
Breds End Drought in Carbondale
Murray State's road victory over Southern Illinois put an end to a 12-game losing streak at Abe Martin Field. The win was the first since 1999.
Major Earns 1st Career Save
Joe Major came out of the bullpen to throw three shutout innings against Southern Illinois to earn his first career save. He allowed four hits and worked his way out of a bases-load jam by getting a 5-4-3 double play to end the inning.
Middle Infield Turns Three DP's
The middle infield combination of Dylan Wheeler and Noah Zipko teamed up to turn three double plays in the victory over Southern Illinois. As a team, the Breds defense has turned 27 double plays.
On Deck
The Breds return to the friendly confines of Reagan Field as they play host to Southern Illinois on April 3. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
