Murray State women's tennis completed their successful fall season at the ASU Invitational. After taking home six titles at their first two fall tournaments, MSU added five more at this weekend.

Three Racers earned singles championships while Murray State also won at second and fourth doubles.

Andrea Eskauriatza picked up the first championship win for the Racers at first singles. She defeated Tamara Slijepcevic of ASU, 6-2, 6-4.

Also winning were both Eleonore and Verginie Tchakarova at second and fourth singles respectively. Eleonore defeated Heather Robinson of SEMO 6-3, 6-2 and Verginie took down Krizia Buck of Central Arkansas, 6-3, 6-0.

Also victorious was the team of Eskauriatza and Erin Patton at second doubles. The team went 3-0 in the round robin draw.

In the traditional bracket draw of the fourth doubles, the non-traditional team of Suzaan Stoltz and SIU's Bara took home the title. The team defeated Murray State's Carla Suga and Megan Blue in the finals,
8-7.

The Tchakarova sister's teamed up at the round robin first doubles draw. The tandem lost in the finals to ASU, 8-6.

Although she didn't win, Megan Blue gave third singles champion Julie Gauguery of ASU all she could handle, taking her to limit before falling, 7-6, 7-5.

Also playing at first singles was Suga. She lost in the opening round but rebounded to win the consolation draw. She defeated Janie Nowland of ASU in the finals, 7-5, 7-5.

Stoltz also won the consolation side of her fifth singles draw. She came out on top over Maya Smith of SEMO, 6-1, 6-2.

The ASU Invitational concludes the fall slate for the Racers. They'll pick their season back up in January with their first duel match scheduled for Jan. 26 against Lindsey Wilson.
