Racers Close Out Season Saturday at The Track

STORY LINES
Murray State closes out the 2013 season as they welcome Eastern Kentucky to The Track for a 12 p.m. kickoff. The game also marks the final game for Coach Hatcher's first recruiting class at MSU.
A victory on Saturday will give the Racers a 6-6 record and mark the third time in Chris Hatcher's four seasons the Racers have finished with at least a .500 record. MSU has won at least five games in each of his four seasons.
Both teams enter the weekend in the midst of losing streaks. The Racers have lost three straight, while the Colonels enter the game as losers of their last two games.
The Racer defense held Tennessee State to just 60 yards passing. It marks the second time the defense has allowed just 60 yards passing in a game. MSU held Austin Peay to 60 yards through the air.
The Colonels have dominated the series in recent years as they have won eight-straight, and 10 of the last 11 meetings. The Racers have not defeated EKU at Stewart Stadium since 1999.

Murray State scored 24 points in the first half, but could not score in the second half in falling 55-24 in Richmond.
Season Finale
Murray State is a perfect 3-0 in season finale's in the Chris Hatcher era. MSU beat Tennessee State (28-23) in 2010, Southeast Missouri (35-34) in 2011 and SEMO (42-35) in 2012.
Defending the Pass
The Racer defense limited Tennessee State to just 60 passing yards. It marked the second time this season the defense has allowed just 60 yards passing in a game. MSU also held Austin Peay to that total.
No Turnovers vs TSU
Saturday's game against Tennessee State marked the first time this season the Racer defense has not forced a turnover this season.
