The Murray State men's tennis squad dropped a 7-0 decision Tuesday afternoon to Austin Peay at the Bennie Purcell Courts.
The Racers lost the doubles point, losing all three matchups in doubles play. Adam Taylor and Ryan Kennedy lost at number on 8-2, Tyler Jeffers and Joao Camara fell at number two 8-4, as did Max McLean and Nicholas Mitric at number three doubles.
In singles play, Taylor fell at one 6-4, 6-1. Jeffers fell at number two, 6-2, 6-3. Kennedy was downed at number three 6-2 and 6-3. McLean lost at number four 6-0, 6-3. While Nicholas Mitric and Aleks Mitric lost at number five and six, respectively, losing 9-8 and 8-4.
The Racers have a quick turnaround as they will head to Lexington to face Kentucky Wednesday evening at 6 p.m.
