Racers Fall at No. 8 Kentucky

The Murray State men's tennis team dropped a 6-0 decision to eighth-ranked Kentucky Wednesday evening in Lexington.
The match was the Racers' (0-15) final non-conference match of the season. Doubles matches were not played after the Wildcats clinched the win after singles play.
24th-ranked Tom Jomby of Kentucky defeated Adam Taylor at number one singles 6-4 and 6-4. Tyler Jeffers lost at number two 6-2 and 7-5. Ryan Kennedy was defeated at number three 6-2, 6-2. Max McLean fell at number four 6-0, 6-2. While Nicholas Mitric lost at number five 6-0 and 6-0 and Aleks Mitric lost at six 8-0 in his eight-point pro set.
Murray State returns to OVC action this weekend with a pair of road matches. The Racers will face Belmont on Saturday and Tennessee State on Sunday.
