Bettis, Love Set for NCAA Regional

Murray State track athletes Sharda Bettis and Alexis Love travel to Greensboro, N.C. for the NCAA East Regional hosted by North Carolina A&T Thursday through Saturday.
Bettis will compete in the 100-meter hurdles for the Racers while the All-American Love will be running in the 100- and 200-meter dashes.
Bettis currently holds the school record in the 100 hurdles, a mark that she broke multiple times this season. Bettis' time in the event is 13.53 seconds. Love finished sixth in the 100 at last season's NCAA Championships and made it to the semifinals in the 200.
Love will run first at the meet as she will take the track for the first round of the 100 at 5:30 p.m. Murray time on Thursday. Bettis will make her meet debut Friday afternoon as she will run at 4. Love's first race in the 200 will take place at 7 p.m. central time.
The quarterfinals of the 100 will be run at 5:30 on Friday night. The quarterfinals of the 100 hurdles and 200 will be run on Saturday at 6:05 and 6:35 p.m., respectively.
Qualifying teams and individuals advance to the 2013 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Ore., on June 5-8, 2013.
