2011-12: Named 2012 Female Track Athlete of the Year in the OVC and Athlete of the OVC Outdoor Championships … scored 23.5 points to lead the Racers to a third-place finish at the championships … set an OVC record in the 200m at the outdoor championships with a time of 23.33, winning the event … also won the 100m with a time of 11.28 which was a new stadium record … was part of the team that set the school record in the 4x100m relay with a time of 45.63 … finished sixth at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 100 ... made it to the semifinals of the 200 … competed at the United States Track and Field Olympic Trials … ran a time of 23.10 at the trials in the semifinals of the 200 … was part of rare company at the trials as she was one of five athletes of the 18 semifinalists that were still student-athletes, the other 13 competitors run fulltime … also competed in the semifinals of the 100 … three-time All-American in 2011-12 … named a 100m and 200m All-American during the outdoor season and in the 200 meters during the indoor season … set the school record during the indoor season in the 60 and the 200 with times of 7.42 and 23.66, respectively
2010-11: Set the school record in the indoor 60-meter dash at the OVC Indoor Championship, with a time of 7.60, to earn fourth place...earned Indoor All-OVC honors for her second-place finish in the 200 at the OVC Championship (24.91)...was seventh in the 200 Invite at the GVSU Big Meet, finishing in a career-best time of 24.82...compted in just the 100-meter dash during the outdoor campaign...ran a personal-best time of 11.97 in the 100 at the Showdown on the Cumberland...finished 6th in the OVC Championship in the 100, with a time of 12.15...was one of 12 participants in the outdoor OVC Championship and helped the team finish fifth.
2009-10: Competed in sprint events for the Racers…had a strong showing at the OVC Indoor Championships, finishing with two personal bests…ran the 55 in 7.11 and the 200 in 24.83…also competed in the 60 and has a season-best of 7.73…helped the Racers to a season-best 46.95 finish in the 4x100 relay in the outdoor campaign at the Ole Miss Invite…also ran in the 100 and 200…had personal-best times of 12.16 (100) and 28.40 (200).
Before MSU: Attended Palmetto High School in Palmetto, Fla....under coaches Rod Martin and Robert Kelly, she was a three-time state finalist in the 100, 200, and 4x100 relay...three-time county champion in the 100, 200 and 4x100...district champion her senior season in the 100, 200, and 4x100 relay...regional champion her junior season in the 100, 200, and 4x100 relay...all-area track female athlete of the year her junior and senior season...anchored the 4x100 relay team which holds the school record...also participated in girls weightlifting at Palmetto.
