Racer Radio Network Starting Lineup Set

Murray State Athletics announced a familiar voice is joining the Racer Radio Network broadcasts this season for men's basketball.
Former Racer assistant coach Kenny Roth will provide insight and analysis in the 2014-15 season, as announced by director of athletics Allen Ward.
"I'm excited to have Kenny teaming with the best play-by-play man in the country, Neal Bradley," Ward said. "Kenny's experience, knowledge of the game, and enthusiasm for Racer basketball will be a great compliment to Neal and serve our fans well. Racer fans across the country will really enjoy listening to our new broadcast team."
Roth is no stranger to the Racer Radio Network, having done several fill-in games in past seasons. Now, Roth will team with Neal Bradley on all MSU home games and most of the away games. Dave Winder, MSU assistant AD for media relations, will team with Bradley on occasions when Roth can't serve
Roth was assistant coach at Murray State under head coach Scott Edgar from 1991-95 and later served as assistant AD for external affairs from 1999-05. After leaving the coaching profession, he has been in private business and currently serves as director of opportunities with Peel & Holland.
"I am honored that Allen Ward asked me to join Neal Bradley on Racer Radio," Roth said. "Neal is an elite-level play by play guy that has documented all of our historic moments and I'm looking forward to working with him. My role is just to put details on the picture that Neal has already painted. Hopefully, I can give some insight to the broadcast from a coach's perspective. I am grateful to Roy Riley, president of Peel & Holland, for allowing me the opportunity to give back to the basketball program that has positively impacted my life."
Bradley, a beloved figure in Racer Nation is in his 24th season as the voice of the Racers on radio.
"I'm looking forward to working with Kenny and Dave," Bradley said. "We're going to have a lot of fun in what we hope is another big season for the Racers. I think I have the best job around. I get to see this team every game and I love knowing that our fans are on the other end of the radio listening. I do feel that connection with the fans."
Racer Basketball is on WFGE Froggy 103.7 FM and WNBS 1340 AM, part of Forever Communications and their family of radio stations. All MSU men's games are heard on Froggy and all of the women's games are aired on WNBS.
The first broadcasts for men's basketball is the exhibition game (Nov. 6) with Freed-Hardeman and the season opener (Nov. 14) when the Racers host Houston. The pair of games is at home at the CFSB Center each with a 7 p.m. tip off.
Mallory Warmack Named Racer Women's Basketball Radio Voice
Murray State sophomore student Mallory Warmack will serves as the voice of MSU women's basketball for the 2014-15 season.
Warmack, from Morganfield, Kentucky, first came on the scene as a freshman when she did the play-by-play of several MSU broadcasts on the OVC Digital Network for soccer and softball. Warmack was also honored to be the play-by-play voice of the OVC Soccer Championship last fall. She also served an internship at WMSK radio in Morganfield.
"We're excited to have Mallory join our radio efforts," Ward said. "This goes with our desire to involve not only students who're athletes, but students who want to work in athletics. Our fans will enjoy listening to Mallory call the women's games."
"I'm very excited to have the opportunity to be the radio voice of our women's team," said Warmack. "It's going to be fun to see Rob Cross' team come together from start to finish and I think they're going to have a great season. I thank Dave Winder for the opportunity to get involved."
Warmack plans to major in journalism at Murray State and have a minor in youth and non-profit leadership. She is a member of the Delta Omega chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority.
