Racers Fall at Tennessee

The Murray State men's tennis team fell in a shortened doubleheader to the Vols at Tennessee on Friday. In the first match, MSU fell 3-0. In the second match, Murray State lost 5-0.
In the first match, the Racers played one doubles match and four singles matches. In the doubles match, Marcel Ueltzhoeffer and David Schrott fell 8-4. In the singles matches, Srdjan Trosic retired in his match at the No. 2 singles with the score 3-0. Will True fell next at the No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-4. His match would be the deciding match giving Tennessee the 3-0 victory in the first match of the double header.
In the second match Ueltzhoeffer and Schrott fell in doubles play again, this time 8-0. Javier Villar and Davis Hess also played a doubles match but fell to Tennessee 8-3. In the singles matches, Lucas Braga made his debut as a Racer at the No.2 singles. He fell in the match 6-0, 5-0. Anjan Kashyab played at the No. 3 singles. He fell 6-1, 6-0.
Murray State (2-16) concludes their series with Tennessee on Sunday. Match time is set for 9 a.m.
