Jonathan Stark scored a game-high 27 points on 5-of-10 3-point shooting and ended the game a pair of assists from a double-double. Anthony Smith added 12 points in 20 minutes off the bench hitting 4-of-4 from the field and 4-of-4 from the line.
Trailing 37-31 at halftime, the Racers got going with 12:26 left when Miller hit a 3-pointer followed by a loose ball scramble that ended with a Stark to Jalen Dupree alley-oop. The Racers' 51-49 lead was their first since the 8:38 mark of the first half when it was 20-19.
Murray State took the lead for good when Stark hit a deep 3-point basket with 4:24 remaining for a 66-65 lead. Stark and Buchanan each nailed threes to keep the Racers in front and they hit 6-of-8
