With the regular season finished, the Murray State Racers go into the  Ohio Valley Conference Postseason Tournament with hopes of hitting an elusive hot streak that they've been trying to find all season.
MSU (14-16, 8-8 OVC) meet the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles (12-19, 8-8) in the first round at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Racers are the No. 7 seed and TTU is the No. 6 seed. The winner advances to meet Morehead State (14-15, 10-6) the No. 3 seed Thursday at 8:30 p.m.
Froggy 103 (WFGS 103.7 FM) airs every MSU game with "Voice of the Racers" Neal Bradley, in his 26th season calling the action. Former MSU assistant coach Kenny Roth provides commentary. Froggy103.com and GoRacers.com has free online streaming audio. Free online streaming video is available at OVCDigitalNetwork.com.
Extending the Racers' run of 29-straight consecutive winning seasons can still be done, but it will take winning the tournament, something the Racers have done a league-record 15 times with the last coming in 2012.
MSU put Jonathan Stark and Terrell Miller, Jr., on the All-OVC First Team and All-Newcomer Team in a vote by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.
TTU won the first meeting with MSU this season (Jan. 7) in Cookeville 71-67 in a game where the Racers last had the lead with 12:17 left.
