Adam Kiesler Named Head Coach for Track & Field and Cross Country

Adam Kiesler has been elevated to the lead role of track & field and cross country as announced by Murray State Director of Athletics Allen Ward."I am pleased to announce Adam Kiesler's advancement to become director of our track & field and cross country programs," Ward said. "Since his arrival, Adam has played in important part in building our track program. He's fully prepared to move to the Director's role and I'm confident he'll take our program to a championship level."
"Coach Kiesler has been directly responsible for recruiting some of the finest student-athletes the Racer track program has ever seen and his commitment to academic excellence goes hand in hand with his recruiting philosophy," stated Ward. "He's the perfect fit and I'm excited that he's agreed to become our Head Coach."
"I'd like to thank Allen Ward and Dr. Davies for this opportunity and Coach Jenny Swieton for the opportunity she gave me seven years ago," Kiesler said. "I'm proud of the program we've built at Murray State and it means a lot to me to be able to build on our success going into the future."
Kelsey Riggins remains at Murray State and enters her second year as assistant coach where she'll focus on vertical & horizontal jumpers along with multi-athletes.
