The Murray State women's basketball team hits the road Friday in search of its first road win of the season when it travels to Chattanooga for a 7 p.m. ET tip-off with the Mocs at McKenzie Arena.
Series At A Glance
Friday will be the fifth meeting all-time between Murray State and Chattanooga with the Mocs leading the all-time series at 3-1 overall and 2-0 in Chattanooga.
Scouting The Mocs
Murray State will be Chattanooga's fourth consecutive OVC opponent to start the season Friday. The Mocs held off a late Tennessee State rally Wednesday to secure a 63-57 win, after opening the season with losses to Belmont and Tennessee Tech.
Through three games this season, Chattanooga currently scores 63.7 points and averages 34.7 rebounds per game, while allowing 77.7 points and 36.3 rebounds.
Abby Cornelius currently averages a double-double for Chattanooga with 12.7 points and 11.3 rebounds, while Dena Jarrells and Brooke Hampel follow at 12.0 and 10.0 points per game.
