
Community Event Planned Monday To celebrate Murray State-Missouri Valley Conference Partnership

Fans, supporters and media are invited to free public celebration and press conference Monday at the CFSB Center
Murray State University will hold a community event Monday (Jan. 10) at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky, to celebrate the Racers joining the Missouri Valley Conference.

Doors to the CFSB Center open at 11 a.m. Monday for a free event beginning at noon. Fans should enter the CFSB Center through Gate B. The community event features comments from MSU and MVC officials, videos of great Racer moments and a chance to take selfies on stage. Limited commemorative posters will also be available.

Media members are invited to attend the community event and stay afterwards for a press conference that will begin shortly after the first event. MSU and MVC officials will be available for questions and selected MSU head coaches. Both the community event and the press conference will be streamed live on ESPN+.

When the Racers join the MVC July,1, 2022, they will partner with member institutions Belmont University (Nashville, Tenn.), Bradley University (Peoria, Ill.), Drake University (Des Moines, Iowa), the University of Evansville (Evansville, Ind.), Illinois State University (Normal, Ill.), Indiana State University (Terre Haute, Ind.), Missouri State University (Springfield, Mo.), the University of Northern Iowa (Cedar Falls, Iowa), Southern Illinois University (Carbondale, Ill.) and Valparaiso University (Valparaiso, Ind).
