- Katelyn Young led Murray State in scoring on the night with 19, while Hannah McKay followed at 16. Alexis Burpo added 13 to the cause, while Young also led Murray State in rebounding at eight.
 - Saturday's win in Cookeville was just the seventh time in 46 tries that Murray State has beaten Tennessee Tech on its home court. Of those seven wins, Rechelle Turner now has three of them, making her the most successful Racer coach in Cookeville in program history. As for the other four wins, Rob Cross owns two of them, while Jody Adams and Kelly Breazeale each have one.
 - Macey Turley turned in a season-high seven assists Saturday, to go along with nine points, to help the Racers finish with 24 assists on 29 made field goals
 - Racers shot a season-high 58.0 percent from the floor in the game, while limiting Tennessee Tech to just 29.6. The Racers were also 50.0-percent from 3-point range by going 3-for-6, while TTU shot 30.0-percent on a 6-for-20 performance
 - In the second, Murray State put together one of the most dominant quarters of the Rechelle Turner era, by outscoring Tennessee Tech, 18-3. Murray State was 8-for-13 in the stanza, while the Golden Eagles were just 1-for-13.
 - The win over Tennessee Tech was the largest in program history for the Racers at 25 points. The previous largest win over TTU was 16 points, which also happened in Cookeville on Feb. 28, 2013.
 - After allowing 19 points off of 11 turnovers in last week's loss to the Golden Eagles, the Racers gave up just three points Saturday off of a season-low 10 turnovers. In the paint, Murray State scored a season-high 52 points, while allowing a near season-low of just 16 points by the Golden Eagles.
 - With the win, Murray State is now 10-4 on the season and 2-1 in OVC play.
