Women’s Track & Field returns to Louisville for the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic
The Murray State Racers women's track & field team heads back to Louisville, Kentucky to compete in the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic on Friday, Feb. 4 at the Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center.

MEET INFO
The PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic will begin at 12 p.m. with the 3000 meter run and finish with 4x400m relay at approximately 6:15 p.m. Field events will start with the shot put at 12 p.m. and finish with the high jump at approximately 3:30 p.m.

Spectators are allowed. Cost is $10 for adults, $7 for kids (3-17) and under 3 years old is free. Parking is $5 per car. Masks are mandatory.

The Racers claimed 17 top-3 placements including eight event wins at the Bellarmine Open on Friday

Rachel Hagans placed first in 3 of 4 events on Friday at the Bellarmine Open and first in all three events at the Kentucky Collegiate Indoor on Saturday.

Jenna Pauly set a new in the shot put with a distance of 9.72m, finished second in the pole vault clearing a height of 3.64m, and won the high jump with a height of 1.65m.

Amyah Davis picked up her first event wins of her collegiate career, winning the 60m Hurdles at both meets.

Maria Bangala also won her first event as a Racer, winning the 400 m in 57.76 at the Bellarmine Open.

The Racers swept the team relays, the 4x400m and distance medley. Hagans, JaKayla McSwain, Lucia Herrero Yanez, and Hannah Malone won the 4x400 in 3:58.17. Amirr Evans, Emma Creviston, LaMiah Campbell, and Zarra Humphrey won the distance medley in 12:32.96.

The Racers head to Nashville, Tennessee, next week for the Indoor Music City Challenge hosted by Vanderbilt. This is the final indoor meet before the OVC Indoor Championships held on Feb. 23-24 in Birmingham, Alabama.
