"Overall today was a good start to the outdoor season," said Murray State Head Coach Adam Kiesler. "The weather always plays a part in the outdoor season and that's something we all have to get used to in the next few weeks. It was great to see some lifetime best performances which place some of our athletes on the all-time list here at Murray State, but more importantly it was great to see the energy stay at a high level. We had athletes put themselves in positions they haven't been in and with that they found success. Tomorrow will be another great day to compete and we look forward to hosting everyone again here in Murray."
Â
Saturday's event lineup begins at 9:30 a.m. with the finish of the Heptathlon. At noon, Hamilton Field has the shot put and javelin competitions and Stewart Stadium has finals in nine events concluding with the 1600m relay at approximately 6 p.m.
