Racers Host Bears On Ja Morant Poster Day

Looking to get back on the winning track, the Murray State Racers (11-10, 6-5 MVC) come home to the CFSB Center to host the Missouri State Bears (11-10, 7-4 MVC) in a 1 p.m. tip in Murray, Ky. on Ja Morant Poster Day As the second half of the Missouri Valley Conference got going this week, the Bears are the final team that the Racers haven't met this season. The second game in Springfield, Mo. will be played Feb. 21.

The Racers fell to 2-8 on the road this season with a loss Tuesday at Southern Illinois 68-64, a game in which the Racers held the lead with 3:47 remaining. Rob Perry scored his first double-double as a Racer with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Brian Moore played another brilliant game in his third-straight start. His stat line included 19 points on 7-12 from the field with four 3-point baskets. The Racer also had a big day on the boards as they held the Salukis to only five offensive rebounds.
