Murray State volleyball fall in three sets to Illinois State.

In A Nutshell
Murray State volleyball lost to Illinois State in three sets, ending their winning streak at Normal, Ill., Saturday.

The Racers and Redbirds went back and forth at the beginning of the first set, but the Illinois State made a run by the 20th point to take the early lead. Another battle occurred in the second set; it saw two deuce points before the Racers dropped the set.

Illinois State clinched the match by securing the fifth set 21-25. The Racers are now fourth in the Missouri Valley Conference play with a 6-3 conference record.

Bailey DeMier posted 38 assists to average 12.67 per set.
Darci Metzger and Haidi Miliou led the Racers in kills with 11. Elisa Dozio posted 10 kills.
Ella Vogel posted two block solos and one block assist.
