Racers Set For Regular Season Home Finale Against Drake

Murray State looks to extend its winning streak in the final home match of the 2023 regular season.

The Murray State women's soccer team looks to end the home slate of the 2023 regular season against the Drake Bulldogs at Cutchin Field on October 19th at 3 p.m.
The Racers enter Sunday's match with a three-match win streak and a four-match unbeaten streak, as well as being unbeaten in seven of their last eight matches.
The Racers are 2-1 all-time against the Bulldogs. MSU fell to Drake, 1-0, in the 2022 regular season finale but eliminated the Bulldogs in the first round of the conference tournament, 1-0.
Coming off a Senior Day win against Southern Illinois, Mary Hardy and Morgan Bodker each scored a goal with just 10 players on the field. Hardy scored her sixth goal of the season, which is tied for the fourth-most in the Missouri Valley. Bodker netted her second-career game-winner and penalty kick to propel Murray State ahead of the Salukis.
Hardy also has taken the third-most shots (41) and has notched the fifth-most points (14) in the conference this season. Keeper Griselda Revolorio ranks in the top three in the MVC in save percentage (0.843) and goals against average (0.76).

The Bulldogs are coming off a 1-0 win at home over Evansville, with Layla Kelbel scoring her fifth goal and second game-winner of the season. She has the second-most goals on the team behind Emma Nagel, who has seven. Nagel's seven goals rank tied for the second-most in the MVC. She also leads her team in points (17) and game-winners (3).
Drake keeper Addie Ford ranks second in the league in goals against average (0.73), fourth in save percentage (0.839), and tied for the sixth-most saves with 47.
