The Game
The Murray State women's basketball team travels to Nashville Thursday to begin the final leg of its four-game road swing. The Racers will square off against rival Belmont Thursday at the Curb Event Center at 6:30 p.m.
Last Time Out
Turnovers continued to plague Murray State Sunday at Indiana State as the Sycamores scored 25 points off of 20 MSU turnovers to top the Racers, 62-54, in Terre Haute. Katelyn Young led Murray State with 30 points, while Hannah McKay pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds.
Series At A Glance
The Racers snapped a seven-game skid in Murray to the Bruins last month with a 64-46 win at the CFSB Center. Belmont now leads the overall series 19-4, as well as 7-1 in games played in Nashville.
Scouting The Bruins
Belmont enters Thursday's matchup on a four-game win streak with an overall record of 11-10 and a 7-3 mark in Missouri Valley play.
Destinee Wells and Madison Bartley currently lead the Bruins in scoring at 16.4 and 13.3 points per game. On the boards, Tessa Miller pulls down 6.0 rebounds per game to lead Belmont, while Bartley follows at 4.8.
Belmont currently averages 68.6 points per game on 41.6-percent shooting with 36.8 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, the Bruins' opponents are averaging 66.6 points per game on 39.0-percent shooting with 38.9 rebounds per game.
A Win Would...
A win Sunday would put an end to a four-game skid by the Racers, both overall and on the road.
Milestones Achieved
On Jan. 29 in Terre Haute, Macey Turley notched her 500th career assist and Alexis Burpo pulled down her 800th rebound. Turley is now just the third Racer to reach 500 career assists, while Burpo is only the 8th Racer to reach the 800-rebound milestone.

Alexis Burpo is closing in on another major career milestone. She currently has 976 career points and needs just 24 to become the 22nd member of the Murray State 1,000-point club.
