Racers Drop Regular Season Opener

Murray State falls in season opener, will travel to Atlanta Sunday for first road test at Georgia State
The Murray State women's soccer team fell to Grambling, 2-0, in the season opener at Cutchin Field on Friday.
The Racers were able to put up seven shots through 90 minutes with four of those shots being on target.
Grambling took the lead early in the eighth minute on a corner delivery from Karlyn Judge, giving Kayla Reed the header in the upper right corner. The Tigers would expand the deficit by two on a free kick in the 62nd minute by Grambling's Samantha Diaz.
Morgan Bodker, Audrey Henry and Hannah Carter all spent full time on the pitch. Griselda Revolorio entered the game in-goal in the 63rd minute and picked up a pair of saves.
