Murray State looks to stay unbeaten in conference play when they travel to Nashville, Tennessee, to face off with the Bruins.

The Murray State women's soccer team will travel to Nashville, Tenn., on Thursday, September 21 for a prime time 6:30 p.m. matchup with the Belmont Bruins at E.S. Rose Park.

The Racers will be looking to split the series even, with Belmont having an 8-7 record against MSU. However, the Racers have won six of the last 10 matchups. The last time the two teams faced each other was on Murray State's home pitch, with the Racers falling 3-1 during the 2022 season.

The Racers are coming off a scoreless draw in their conference opener against the preseason top-ranked Missouri State Bears. Murray State outshot Missouri State 14-12, with Mary Hardy and Megan Wilson leading with four shots each.

Griselda Revolorio picked up her first collegiate career clean sheet against the Bears, notching six saves in 90 minutes in just her third start and second to play full time.

The Bruins enter Thursday's match with a 1-5-3 record in 2023, coming off a 0-0 draw against Indiana State in their conference opener on Sunday. With just 10 total shots taken in the match, Belmont took four of those while putting two on frame. Avery Nowak and Anna Sweeney each took a shot, and Carlie Ross and Natalie Haverland both put their lone shot on goal.

As a team, Belmont has taken 43 shots this year putting just over 60% of them in frame. The Bruins have a near split on the scoring end with three goals scored in the first half and two in the second half. Maci Pekmezian leads the team in goals (2), points (5) and shots on goal (4). She is tied with Leah Firsdon and Sweeney for the most shots taken with six, and Nowak leads the team in assists with three.
