- It's game-11 of the season for the Murray State Racers as they play their 100th season in program history in 2024.
- The Racers are coming off a 59-31 defeat at in the final home game of the season to the Missouri State Bears.
- MSU's senior QB, Jayden Johannsen is 125-of-222 in passing this season with seven touchdown throws against 10 interceptions.
- Last week against Missouri State, Johannsen was 21-of-24 for his second-best game at MSU of 249 yards with one TD throw and one interception.
- His 45-yard pass completion to Justice Hill in the third quarter last week against the Bears was the fifth-longest of the season.
- Jewaun Northington led the Racers' ground game last week against the Bears with 86 yards on four carries.
- Northington's 55-yard run in the third quarter was the second-longest run of the season for the Racers.
- Murray State kicker James London was already the MSU career leader in field goals of 50 or more yards - booted two more against the Bears of 50 & 52 yards.
- A sophomore, London has made seven field goals of 50-plus yards in his two seasons with the Racers.
- London made a 54-yard field goal against Mississippi Valley this season and owns the two longest field goals this season in the MVFC.
