Murray State is coming off their second-straight weekend series win to start the 2024 season.

Murray State is slated to take on the North Alabama Lions on Tuesday, February 27 at 3 p.m. at Reagan Field for the Racers' first home midweek clash this season.

The Racers return to the home dirt after clinching a series win over the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.

Scouting Report
North Alabama enters Tuesday's game with a 2-5 record to start the season. The Lions are led by Kyle Machado who leads his team with a .308 batting average, eight base hits, two home runs and seven RBIs. He is also his team's leader in slugging percentage and holds the second-highest on-base percentage.

Jacob James has been the most dominant on the mound for UNA holding a 1.64 ERA through 11 innings with 17 strikeouts, while allowing two runs on eight hits and six walks.

Weekly Notes
The Racers went 3-2 last week including the series win over ULM. Carson Garner leads Murray State in batting average, slugging and on-base percentage as well as OPS. He also has the most home runs, RBIs and walks drawn on the MSU roster.

Bryce Valero, Ryan Fender and Alex Elsing have punched out 12 batters each, tying for the second-most in the Missouri Valley. Allen Roulette is tied for the most wins in the conference with two while striking out 10 batters through 10 1/3 innings in relief.
