Murray State women's basketball's will face Bradley in the first round of the Missouri Valley Conference Hoops in the Heartland as they enter the tournament as the sixth seed team, Thursday.

Murray State enters their second Hoops in the Heartland as the sixth seed after finishing the regular season with a 19-10 overall and 12-8 conference record.
The Racers won 81-64 at Bradley on their final regular season game of the season, Saturday.
MSU won 99-52 over Bradley at the CFSB Centern earlier this season.
This will be the fourth meeting between the Racers and Braves with Murray State leading the series 3-0.
The Racers fell in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Hoops in the Heartland when they suffer a narrow 73-75 loss to Illinois State.

Young now has 2,258 points and is 30 points away from becoming the program's scoring record. The record is currently held by Sheila Smith.
Young was included in the 2024 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Mid-Season Watch List by Her Hoop Stats.
Rechelle Turner enters her seventh season after guiding the Racers through their inaugural MVC season.

Bradley enters the Hoops in the Heartland as the 11th seed with a 2-18 conference record with wins over Southern Illinois and Evansville.
