Racers Set For Split Competitions In Florida and Illinois

Murray State looks ahead to a one-day team split competition on Saturday.
The Racers are slated to compete in the South Florida Invitational in Tampa, Florida and the Bill Cornell Invite in Carbondale, Illinois. The South Florida Invitational is hosted by the South Florida Bulls and the Bill Cornell Invite is hosted by fellow Missouri Valley Conference member Southern Illinois.
Saturday's competition will be the second-straight weekend of split meets for the Racers after competing at three separate meets the weekend prior and their second of three separate split meet competitions for the outdoor season.
Competing at the South Florida Invitational are Faith Bostick, Alyssa Williams, Madelyn Muller, Simone Joseph, Lucia Hererro Yanez, Amirr Evans, Anouk Krause-Jentsch, Chelby Melvin, Darrione Joseph, Lindley Johnston, Andrea Segovia, Ruth Kimutai, Allison Wood, Samantha Tucci, Jenna Pauly, Kayla Bell, Meghan Fletcher, Brooke Probst, DiamonAsia Taylor, Caroline Murphy, Kylie Gormann, Alexis Meloche and Alba Pérez Sanz.
Competing in Carbondale for the Bill Cornell Invite are Jakiya Baker, Kinsey Huber, Sterling Scarlette, Morgan Noyes, Victoria McCracken, Anna Shaffer, Emilia Kubik, Tayla Tootle, Alyssa Moore, Ainsley Smith, Hope Ware, Karrington Edwards, Joy Alexander, Jocelyn Host, Breanna Day, Kaydee Wooldridge, Laura Seeberger, Jaylea Hooten, Abby Yanka, Katie Schneider and Ayla Rice.
Along with the women competing at the Bill Cornell Invite, eight men's runners will be competing as well. Ben Crask, Jackson Custer, Kellen Hottell, Nathan Quinn, Gabe Russell, Joey Santoro, Dan Schalk and Jarod Willis are all competing in the men's 5000-meter run and will split for two teams in the men's 4x400-meter relay.
