Racers Begin Iowa Swing in Matchup with Northern Iowa

Murray State women's basketball takes on Northern Iowa on Thursday
Murray State women's basketball travels to Northern Iowa on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The matchup marks just the fourth matchup between the Racers and Panthers.Â
The Racers enter the matchup coming off of a 67-60 win over UIC to move to 4-1 in MVC play and help Racers Head Coach Rechelle Turner become the all-time wins leader for the program.
Four Racers all average 13 points or more per contest in Halli Poock, Ava Learn, Haven Ford, and Katelyn Young. The Racers enter the contest at 10-4 on the season.Â
Scouting Report
Northern Iowa enters the game at 9-7 on the season, defating Bradley 67-44 in their last time out. Maya McDermott leads the Panthers with 20.7 points per game and 4.75 assists per game.Â
