Red Hot Racers Host Evansville to Round Out Home Weekend

Murray State women's basketball hosts Evansville on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Murray State women's basketball hosts Evansville on Sunday at 2 p.m. in Murray, Kentucky. The Racers are currently on a five game winning streak and are tied with Belmont at 7-1 to lead the Missouri Valley Conference this season.

Katelyn Young was dominant in the Racers victory on Friday night over Indiana State, posting 33 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.

Four Racers all average 13 points or more per contest in Halli Poock, Haven Ford, Ava Learn, and Young. The Racers enter the contest at 12-4 on the season and are fourth nationally in scoring at 87.9 points per game.

Scouting Report

Evansville enters the game at 5-13 on the season, falling to Belmont 90-65 in their last time out. Maggie Hartwig leads the Purple Aces with 16.7 points per game and 8.8 rebounds per game.
