- 2024-25 is the 100th season of collegiate basketball at Murray State & third in the Missouri Valley Conference.
- The Racers hit the road for the Knapp Center in Des Moines to meet the Drake Bulldogs.
- The Racers are looking for their first win in the MVC over Drake as they play for the fifth time.
- The Racers are coming off a 74-68 loss at home Thursday to the Illinois State Redbirds at home.
- MSU is looking to snap a 5-game losing skid on the road in MVC play since their last win at UNI last February 3 by a 71-43 score.
- Next up for MSU is a Wednesday game in Cedar Falls against Northern Iowa.
- The Racers come back home (Jan. 11) to host Valparaiso and travel to UIC (Jan. 15).
- Murray State will induct the 42nd class to the MSU Hall of Fame on Jan. 17.

- The class includes: Daniel Calhoun (Baseball, 2006-09), Becca Lamb (Volleyball, 2007-10), Coach Velvet Milkman (Women's Golf, 1993-22), Miyah Watford (Women's Soccer, 2017-19), Quincy Williams (Football, 2014-18) and Jack Wolf (Football, 1967-71).
- Ja Morant (MBB, 2017-19) was inducted last summer at Racer Hoopalooza.
