Racers Return Home for Conference Matchup with Valparaiso

Murray State women's basketball hosts Valpo for Friday night matchup

Murray State women's basketball hosts Valparaiso on Friday at 6 p.m. in Murray, Kentucky. The matchup marks just the fourth matchup between the Racers and Beacons.

The Racers enter the matchup ranking inside the top 10 nationally in three pointers made per game and scoring offense.

Four Racers all average 13.2 points or more per contest in Halli Poock, Ava Learn, Haven Ford, and Katelyn Young. MSU fell in their last game to Missouri State 85-78.

The Racers enter the contest at 8-4 on the season and 2-1 in MVC play. Head Coach Rechelle Turner currently holds 119 career wins, one shy of the MSU record.

Scouting Report

Valpo enters the game at 5-9 on the season, falling to Drake in their last time out. Leah Earnest leads the Beacons with 18.0 points per game and 7.6 rebounds per game.
