Murray State brings a five game winning streak into the Monday morning contest
The Murray State Racers (7-2) are set to host the Memphis Tigers (4-6) tomorrow morning, Monday, December 15th, with an early tip-off at 11:00 AM CST at the CFSB Center. The contest will be the Racers annual Education Day game, hosting local schools for the contest.
Murray State is riding a five-game winning streak and is averaging nearly 80 points per game.Â
Sharnecce Currie-Jelks is leading the team in both scoring and rebounding at 21.7 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. The Jackson, Tennessee native is tops in the MVC in scoring and ranks second in rebounding while leading the nation in double doubles with seven.
The Memphis Tigers, coming in at 4-6 are currently on a three game skid and rank 218 in the most recent NCAA NET rankings.Chae Harris leads the Tigers with 15.7 points per game.
