Racers Open Indoor Season at SIU Event

The Racers begin their indoor season in Carbondale
The Murray State women's track & field team gets their 2025-26 indoor season going Saturday when they compete at the Saluki Fast Start in Carbondale, Illinois.
The Racers are joined in the SIU meet by Lindenwood, Maryville, Washington U and Saint Louis in the Friday/Saturday event at the Southern Illinois Recreation Center.

Heading into their fourth indoor season in the MVC, the Racers were selected second in a preseason vote of the league's head coaches and picked up a pair of first place votes.

The Racers have five events scheduled for the indoor season including two stops at Vanderbilt meets, one in mid-January and February and another stop in Carbondale and one in Columbia, Mo. All roads lead to the Missouri Valley Conference Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana (March 1-2, 2026) at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
